Superior Grayscale Imaging
Improved visibility means better detection of medical conditions at their earliest stages. The Barco® MDNG-5121 delivers on this promise by providing brightness levels up to 700 cd/m², exceptional crispness in image quality, and a wide viewing angle of 170°. The 10-bit lookup table enables 1,024 shades of gray out a palette of 4,096 shades for greater accuracy. An anti-reflective, protective front cover envelopes the screen to improve contrast and make cleaning the equipment easier and safer.


Longevity Without Diminished Performance
With any monitor, brightness dims over time. To compensate for this inevitability and maintain brightness levels that comply with DICOM and MQSA, the BLOS sensor on the Barco® MDNG-5121 measures the output of the monitor's lamps and then communicates with the monitor's electrical panel to increase luminance as dictated by ambient conditions. As an added benefit, the BLOS sensor makes powering up fast.
