DICOM Compliant
To ensure you can enjoy the most accurate and consistent shadings possible, right out of the box, the MX270W is carefully measured to be compliant with DICOM Part 14.
Integrated Front Sensor for Easy Calibration
With the IFS (Integrated Front Sensor), however, calibration is easy. The sensor is located within the front bezel and measures grayscale tones according to a user-determined schedule, greatly reducing the time and effort spent on quality control.
Expand Your Workspace With an Extra Wide Screen
View more with the widescreen 16:10 or 16:9 aspect ratio, expanding the horizontal space beyond what is available from conventional square monitors. With the extra widescreen, you can keep tool palettes open without obscuring the window you’re working on. EIZO ScreenSlicer software allows multiple windows to be easily aligned and dropped into partitioned areas in single- or multi-monitor environments. Combined with a 2560 x 1440 resolution, this monitor is optimized for displaying several imaging applications or windows, improving the workflow of physicians and radiologists.
View More With Wide Viewing Angles and 10-bit Color
Wide viewing angles mean images can be viewed simultaneously by several people, all without sacrificing quality and maintaining minimal color shift. Each RGB color is supported with 10-bit input compatibility that displays over 1 billion colors to equip crisp resolution for 3D color rendering and image fusion
A 10-bit color graphics board and 10-bit color viewer software are needed for a 10-bit color display.
Brightness Stabilization
After starting up or waking your monitor, the brightness level is quickly stabilized thanks to Eizo’s patented drift correction function. Backlight brightness can also be measured with a sensor, and brightness fluctuations are compensated for to negate the effects that ambient temperature and the passage have on the monitor. The Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) function also helps maintain brightness uniformity for a steadier image across the screen.
Ergonomic Design
View comfortably with the ergonomic design of the MX270W, complete with height, swivel, and tilt adjustable stand.
Meets Medical Standards
Rest assured that Eizo monitors meet the strictest safety, medical, and EMC emission standards.
Next-Gen Connectivity
Signal degradation is no longer a problem with the next-generation DisplayPort connector, which allows signal information transmission with a single, high-bandwidth cable at distances up to 15 meters without sacrificing signal quality.
Save Time with Simplified DICOM Calibration
Bundled with RadiCS LE quality control software, the MX270W’s backlight sensor corrects the brightness and grayscale tones of the monitor through simplified calibration compliant with the DICOM Part 14 standard. Now you can save time normally spent on calibrating your monitor.
Environmentally Friendly LEDs
An environmentally-friendly LED backlight displays a maximum brightness of 300 cd/m², and has 42% less power consumption than a CCFL monitor of the same size.
Mode Selection
Selectable with the front panel buttons, the CAL Switch function allows for various calibration modes of different modalities such as CR, CT, and endoscope images.
Convenient Screen Partitioning
EIZO ScreenSlicer software allows multiple windows to be easily aligned and dropped into partitioned areas in single- or multi-monitor environments.
Backlight Saver
Set the monitor’s backlight to only be on while the viewer is being used by setting up the Backlight Saver function.
